En Atradius Crédito y Caución, grupo líder en el sector de Seguro de Crédito con presencia internacional en más de 50 países, necesitamos incorporar un Letrado Procesal para nuestra área de Asesoría Jurídica y Compliance. 

Asesoría Jurídica y Compliance es responsable del asesoramiento a Atradius Crédito y Caución en un amplio rango de temas relacionados con el cumplimiento legal, incluido el de protección de datos, a nivel local.
 

Descripción del puesto

 

Las principales responsabilidades como Letrado Procesal serán:

  • Ejercer la defensa jurídica de los intereses de la Compañía ante los Juzgados y Tribunales. 
  • Coordinar las actuaciones con profesionales externos subcontratos, letrados contrarios y otros profesionales (procuradores). 
  • Asesoramiento legal en las áreas de reclamaciones de clientes, con especial conocimiento en materia de seguros. Asesoramiento en las reclamaciones interpuestas por los asegurados en vía judicial o ante la Dirección General de Seguros. 
  • Difundir, informar y asesorar a las áreas de la Compañía afectadas por nuevos requerimientos legales y reglamentarios. 
  • Realizar tareas administrativas y auxiliares de apoyo necesarias para el correcto desempeño del puesto de trabajo.

 

Conocimientos, educación y experiencia

 

Buscamos incorporar un profesional con gran capacidad de trabajo en equipo, organizado y metódico. Precisamos que la persona aporte buenas habilidades de comunicación en todos los niveles de la organización, orientación al cliente interno, habilidad en la negociación y unas sólidas habilidades analíticas.
Los requisitos exigidos por el puesto son:
 

  • Grado en Derecho. Con Master de Abogacía
  • Letrado en ejercicio y colegiado
  • Experiencia entre 3 y 5 años en la llevanza/dirección letrada de procedimientos judiciales en todas las instancias.
  • Idiomas: dominio del idioma inglés, mínimo C1.
  • Sólidos conocimientos de derecho mercantil, derecho civil y derecho procesal. 
  • Perfil proactivo con buenas habilidades de comunicación e integridad.
  • Capacidad de escucha, analítica, ordenado y metódico
  • Capacidad de síntesis y compresión de documentos legales
  • Capacidad de trabajo en equipo y orientación al cliente interno
  • Habilidades en negociación

Department Description


A new role with the opportunity to create and shape ESG within Atradius. 

The role is a strategic and operational management one, whereby the successful candidate will use excellent leadership, influencing, interpersonal and motivational skills to help shape the Atradius’ ESG strategy and embed the sustainable business strategy across the Atradius international businesses. The role will also be responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of sustainability across our international construction and fit-out projects. (This will involve building a project team that can manage the day-to-day operations across our European, Asia-Pacific and Middle Eastern geographies).


As the Head of ESG, you will report into the Director Corporate Finance and Tax.


The Role Has Two Main Purposes

 

  •    To help shape the Atradius ESG’ strategy as a member of the ESG Committee chaired by the CFO  and embed in the overall ESG strategy of the Grupo Catalana Occidente (GCO) Group 
  •    To drive execution by overseeing the operational management of sustainability across the different Atradius international businesses.

 

In this position your key responsibilities will be:

 

  •     Actively support shaping the sustainable business strategy including Atradius ‘net zero' commitments, actions and targets
  •     Engage, influence and motivate the Atradius Leadership teams to drive the sustainable business strategy and related change programmes – create ownership, oversight and accountability
  •     To create and maintain a budget, resource planning and schedule for sustainability efforts
  •     To coordinate the compliance efforts for meeting all international ESG standards, rules and regulation
  •     To ensure alignment with all contributing units and pull the organisation to the same direction. 
  •     To ensure close alignment and co-ordination with GCO at operating/reporting level
  •     To manage important internal and external stakeholders 
  •     Lead the different work streams in line with business requirements
  •     Report to the Management Board on a regular basis on:

    -  Sustainability KPI’s

    -  Sustainability performance

    -  Key risks and opportunities (and drive mitigation strategies where applicable).

 

 

What qualification should you have? The ideal candidate will have the following profile:

 

  •     7 or more years of work experience in Sustainability management with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or PhD.
  •     Experience of ESG related topics within the professional services industry or other corporate environment
  •     Experience implementing large-scale programs involving multiple team members
  •     Understanding of principles and requirements of good governance and risk management within a corporate environment
  •     Knowledge of frameworks such as sustainable reporting standards such as TCFD, SASB and GRI is an advantage
  •     Experience analysing and consolidating regulatory requirements into concise goals to be implemented.
  •     Experience working at both executive and Board levels
  •     Fluency in both spoken and written English and Spanish is a must

The Group Compliance Operations Specialist is a newly created position within Atradius that will be part of the Group Compliance Function. The Group Compliance Function, which is part of the Group Legal & Compliance unit, is responsible for the maintenance and overall effectiveness of Atradius’ Compliance Framework including the Compliance Function and acts as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization. 


The mission of Atradius’ Compliance Function is (i) to support and advise Atradius and its management in achieving its mission statement through compliance practices, which contribute to sound and controlled business conduct and practices in every aspect of Atradius’ organization, and (ii) jointly with the business fully integrate Compliance Risk management in all daily business activities of Atradius. 


The Compliance Function within Atradius consists of the Group Compliance Function and the Local Compliance Function, which are both consisting of employee(s) who (partially) perform compliance activities. The Group Compliance Function acts at group level, providing regular reports to the Management Board and Supervisory Board, and amongst others assists the Local Compliance Function. 

 


Job Description 


The Compliance Operations Specialist’s responsibilities will cover a wide range of tasks to successfully contribute to the Group Compliance Function providing assistance to Atradius’ activities globally. The Compliance Operations Specialist will assist in the design, implementation and analysis of the sanctions compliance program of the organization, administering the use of external sanctions tools and internal Atradius systems and assist in the preparation of information reports for Group Legal & Compliance and Atradius’ management.


The Compliance Operations Specialist is expected to be based in Madrid, Spain andwill report to the Group Compliance Manager, who in turn reports to the Head of Group Legal & Compliance. 

 


Responsibilities

 

  •     Supporting the operational aspects of the sanctions checking and customer/counterparty due diligence (CDD) process in general, mainly focused on the centralised tasks in the sanctions and CDD checking process.
  •     Support the assessment of alerts identified in the sanctions checking tools (including LexisNexis and the internal systems), mainly focused on false positive selections, registration in the systems and internal communication.
  •     Account and application management in relation to the sanctions checking process, including maintaining or setting up new accounts, divisions, batch runs, settings in LexisNexis and the internal systems, and also data quality management.
  •     Supporting technical queries, individual batch runs of non-automated systems, as well as data (MI) reporting and quality management between LexisNexis and the Atradius systems.
  •     Leading the non-technical maintenance in cooperation with the sanctions checking application owner and LexisNexis, as well as the vendor relationship with LexisNexis (e.g. support for contracts, upgrades, strategy).
  •     Participating in the update and communication of manuals and procedures regarding the CDD and sanctions checking process.
  •     Training new business staff and maintaining/creating new materials regarding the operational aspects of the sanctions checking process. Supporting the operational aspects of the sanctions training programme to keep staff up to date regarding sanctions and the relevant tools and processes.
  •     Providing support for local legal and compliance and other internal stakeholders providing ad hoc checks, reports or other assistance including complex data conversions and extractions from other databases.
  •     Liaise with the representatives of the Local Compliance Function in the countries where Atradius operates and provide assistance on operational matters as required.
  •     Assist the Group Compliance Manager in other operational matters within the remit of the unit’s compliance functions to support adherence to applicable legislation and internal procedures. 

 

 

Job Requirements: Knowledge, Education and Experience  

 

 

  •     Medium level education (secondary school or equivalent).
  •     3 to 5 years work experience within an international environment. 
  •     Experience in data (MI) conversion methods and procedures as well as portfolio reporting using XML, Excel and Access. 
  •     Excellent language skills in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
  •     Strong team player but also able to work independently.
  •     Strong analytical skills.
  •     Good oral, written, presentation and communication skills and good listening, questioning and influencing skills.
  •     Professional attitude, social skills.
